Sweet Potato Hummus

Prepare sweet potato hummus quickly and easily.

Ingredients

1 medium sweet potato (100 gr)

50 g cooked chickpeas

1 garlic (optional)

30 gr (3 tablespoons) of virgin olive oil

Juice of ½ lemon

1 tablespoon tahini paste (or 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds)

Salt, pepper, paprika and ground cumin to taste

Recipe Steps
Step 1

Peel the sweet potato and cut it into cubes. Also remove the skin from the garlic. Place the sweet potato with the whole garlic in the Steam Case and cook for 2-3 minutes in the microwave at maximum power (800 W).

Step 2

Once cooked, blend it with the blender along with the rest of the ingredients: the chickpeas, the tahini paste, the lemon juice, the olive oil and a pinch of ground cumin (adjust the salt and pepper, and add a little water if it is too thick).

Step 3

To finish your sweet potato hummus, decorate with a drizzle of olive oil, sweet paprika and some sesame seeds. And now you can enjoy your delicious sweet potato hummus: and don't forget to accompany it with breadsticks, toasted corn triangles or vegetables!
